is there a perverted mindfulness?

We are probably living in a narcissistic era.



And this influences mindfulness training too...

This is a good video  for all mindfulness teachers... Though the message in it can be discussed.

Is it like it is said there: most people coming to mindfulness courses are somewhat wounded?

In that case Metta - meditation may be good.  A least if it doesn't ends with just love and kindness towards oneself, but goes out  to the surroundings.

If you do it in the right way that should lead to a feeling of oneness, even with the whole universe. And the feeling of a separate self disappears. At least under the meditation.


That will not occur if you just do physical  exercise  like walking. Walking wont lead to a change of behavior as mindfulness can do.  Of course physical exercise is very good too - but why not do both?
