Trump and the golden sneakers


 

Let´s say we all are like marionets. Some hidden things are guiding us. It may be many causes to our actions and thinking. Let´s say it´s our brains in combination with the environment. 

In that case it would be good to stay in a good environment that is good for us. It seems that Trump is going in that way, if he again becomes president his co-workers will be ones that are lojal. 

His brain is of course very much made by his mother and father´s genes. And we know quite much about his father. I seems that Trump has very much followed the environment he was raised in. 

Let´s say that we have no, or just a little free will, and that evolution also has shaped us. Evolution (so far) seems to favour tall white men with some esprit and courage. We want strong leaders. I they cheat or pay less taxes that they should, also shows that they are strong and are like the most of us. 

This may slowly change, or our democratic era may be an exception.

Let´s say meny women like those white men with a lot of money on the bank (a least for a while) and voila the rich white men will have many children (with many wives) and the ideal will not go away. Evolution is a fight to have the most surviving children, is it not.

So into Trump´s golden sneakers. The law and society can regulate the evolution a bit, and now it has led to that Trump is guilty of economics "mistakes" and have to pay back. Still that doesn't make Trump less popular for republican voters. 

So there are many more factors to make a figur like Trump.

In some way it is like a Shakesperian play ? His tragedies are sometimes  interpreted as it´s a  big machine is working behind the story and it will repeat it self after the tragedy has ended on the stage.

There is of course other ways to look at this phenomena. 

One way is that places with strong leaders can be stabile (for a while) and make progress in science, not at least in new weapons.

But its also true that most dictators fall in a cruel way. Its also said that a society that are equal will be more strong. 

Another way to see it (all phenomena can be seen from different perspectives) is that evolution and environment shapes good artists. I think this lady is a good example of that, as she says in the video,  is the third generation of singing women in her family,

Cora Diamond is a new name for me, even if she has worked as a professor in Philosophy in the states for a long time and is still  teaching at the university of Virginia, even she is over 80 years old. I think, therefore I am NOT

So Descartes was wrong. He said that he could doubt everything about himself except that he was thinking. That proved that he existed. The word "I" is the central point here. What does it mean? Perhaps we are sure that we know the answer. Is it the thoughts? In that case - where are you when you aren't thinking? Is it your job, your title? In that case - what happens if you loose your job or change job? Is it your house, your nation? Under my course to be a mindfulness instructor, the teacher, Ola Schenström, made us ask to each other; "Who are you?" Wittgenstein and Buddha -buddies?

Ludwig Wittgenstein, the famous philosopher, reflected in the posthumously published  book "Philosophical Investigations" about the picture above; Is it a hare or duck?  He meant that we make, or must make, a statement what it is. And I suppose he meant that we often or always has to interpret the world around us. But two different interpretations can both be right! Language and thoughts controls what we see.....   You can compare with the picture of a glass. Half empty or half empty?  Who decides? Yes, it's you... And whatever you say is right.  But you can be aware of what you think. That can say more of yourself than of the glass....  You can be aware of that you always do interpretations of things that happens.  If you have a pessimistic or a naive point of view, you can be aware of the view and your statements.  Buddha and Wittgenstein were both aware of that different persons uses different perspectives.  But Buddha spoke about the "right
